Andre Branch

Andre Branch (born July 14, 1989) is an American football defensive end for Clemson University. He is considered to be one of the top defensive end prospects for the 2012 NFL Draft.
Early life
Branch attended Varina High School where he was a two year starter in both football and basketball. During his high school football career, Branch played outside linebacker and was able to garner all-district and second-team all-region honors as a senior. While playing basketball, Branch obtained all-district honors as a power forward. After his 2007 senior campaign, Branch was listed as the 47th prospect in Virginia according to Rivals.com.
College career
After redshirting his freshman year, Branch made several appearances as a redshirt freshman, making 11 tackles, including one for a loss. As a redshirt sophomore, he had a more productive year recording his first quarterback sack and tying for fourth in tackles for loss for the team. Branch's junior season has so far been his most productive, becoming the starting defensive end for the first time in his college career, he recorded 54 total tackles and 6 quarterback sacks.
