Brendan Stote

Brendan Stote (born June 1, 1986 in Stamford, CT) is a professional powerlifter . He currently holds four world records for (IPA) International Powerlifting Association Men’s 308 division.

On August 22, 2009 Stote broke the raw(unassisted) bench press, Squat, Deadlift and total world record.
Brendan Stote is also one of the youngest men to be inducted into the World Marital Arts Hall of Fame at the age of twenty. Stote was inducted on September 2, 2006 in Clevand, Ohio. The event was hosted by Grandmaster (Soke) Dr. E.A. Moore
On November 8, 2009 Stote was rushed to Stamford hospital after rupturing his appendix. Stote waited to long to get to the hospital and came very close to death. Stote then developed complications from having multiple infections. Doctors told him he would never be able to lift heavy again. Despite what the doctors told him, he is currently making a big come back. He is competitively lifting again.
Stote is also an avid writer and is in the process of getting some of his poetry published .
