Bradley D. Foster

Bradley Duane Foster (born March 5, 1949) has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since 2009. He is a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy.
Foster was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dewain Foster and Melba Sauer. He attended Ricks College, focusing on pre-veterinary studies. He is a former owner of Foster Agribusiness and a producer of Idaho potatoes, beef, and fertilizer. He also was a member of the Idaho Potato Commission and served on the President's Advancement Counsel at Brigham Young University-Idaho.
Foster married Sharol Lyn Anderson in 1971 in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple. They are the parents of four children.
Foster served as an LDS Church full-time missionary in the Texas South Mission. He has also served as an elders quorum president, stake mission president, bishop, high councilor, stake president, and president of the California Arcadia Mission (1992-95).
On April 4, 2009, Foster was sustained by church members as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy. From 2011 to 2012, he served as a counselor in the presidency of the church's South America South Area. His current assignment is serving as an associate executive director of the Church's Family History Department.
