Bonita Platinum is a luxury brand of tequila owned in part by hip-hop artist Xzibit. It is produced in Jalisco, Mexico using traditional techniques and extended distillation processes. The tequila is bottled in pure crystal, and sold in a satin-lined box. The tequila is made from 100% Blue Agave. The company claims it is the world's only five-times distilled tequila. History The Bonita Spirits Company is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. It was founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Chris Brown. The product was introduced to the public at Phoenix Tequila Fest in December, 2012.
