Speiron is a Greek company, headquartered in Athens, Greece. It is the first Ultra Premium Food & Beverage Company in Greece. It was founded in 2006 by entrepreneur Giorgos Kolliopoulos Speiron’s first product, λ /lambda/ ultra premium olive oil, is the first luxury olive oil in the world and also the first to introduce the term "ultra premium" in the olive oil category. λ /lambda/ was launched in mid-2007. It has won a Silver World Medal in the New York Festivals Awards 2008 and has received many enthusiastic reviews to date. Speiron’s products are targeting the high-end section of their category. The company recently announced the launch of a new product in 2013. |
