Ben Strickland is the cornerbacks coach of the Wisconsin Badgers football team. Biography Strickland was born on May 21, 1985 in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He is formerly a teacher at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. Playing career Strickland was a defensive back with the Badgers from 2003 to 2007. He would become team captain and was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. Coaching career Strickland's first coaching experience came at Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota. He became defensive quality control coordinator of the Badgers in 2009. Later, he became a graduate assistant before assuming his current position. |
