Bekim Sejdiu

Bekim Sejdiu (born 23 October 1974, in Klina, Yugoslavia - now Kosovo) is the Kosovar ambassador to Turkey.
Biography
Early life and education
Sejdiu obtained a law degree from the University of Pristina in 1999. In 2001 he obtained a master's degree on Democracy and Human Rights from the Universities of Bologna and Sarajevo. In 2005 Sejdiu obtained a master's degree on International Relations from Bilkent University. Currently he is a Ph.D., candidate in international relations from Bilkent University.
Career
Sejdiu started to work as an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Law of the Law Faculty of the University of Pristina in 2002. He worked as expert for several international projects related to the public sector as well as civil society sector in Kosovo.
On 8 April 2008, Sejdiu has been appointed as a Principal Political Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.
He is appointed from 28 August 2008 Ambassador of Republic of Kosovo in Turkey.
Marriage and children
Sejdiu is married to Alberie Rraci-Sejdiu, a primary school teacher in Pristina. He also has two girls and one baby boy.
Published works
Sejdiu has published several academic articles, in Kosovar and international scientific journals, and has translated three books, related to human rights and international law. He also published occasionally for daily newspapers in Kosovo and abroad.
