Rezaul Karim Mazumder is a Bangladeshi scientist, educator and researcher. In 1960, he was among the students graduating from the third electronics course at the University of Dhaka. He is the head of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Personal life Mazumder was born Comilla, Bangladesh on 12th June 1947. Mazumdar spent his childhood in Comilla. Education Mazumder matriculated from Comilla Zila School, Comilla and was awarded with Board scholarship (1965-1967). Mazumder received a B. Sc. (Honors) degree from Dhaka University in applied physics and electronics. He was one of the few students who won the Dhaka University merit scholarship (1967-1969). Later he obtained M.Sc. degree from Dhaka University in the same subject. Professional affiliations Mazumder was with Bern University (Institution of Applied Physics) as a research assistant in designing a low noise RF amplifier from 1979 to 1980. He is a fellow of Bangladesh Electronics Society. Publications He has written two books on electronics and telecommunication engineering for undergrad students. He has 79 publications in different journals and conferences and several scientific articles published in dailies.
