Prof. Behrouz Gatmiri is a professor at the University of Tehran in Iran and at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France. His formation is 2004: Diplôme d'Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from ISTL, Lille " Contribution à la Modélisation geo-poro-dynamique et Thermo-hydro-mécanique" 1989: Ph.D. from "Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées", Paris, with « mention très honorable » , (Theoretical and numerical study of sea bed response to wave action). 1985: Master of Science of "sols-structures mechanics" from "Ecole Centrale de Paris". 1980: Civil Engineering diploma from university of Tehran, IRAN (Master of Science).
