Batumi International University

Batumi International University was established in 2009 by the government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara in Georgia.
Motto
Libertas et veritas. Freedom and truth.
Rose Revolution
Reform of the education sector in Georgia, of which Batumi International University is a part, has been in effect since the Rose Revolution of 2003.
Bologna Process
The University adheres to the goals and standards of the Bologna Process of creating the European Higher Education Area.
Community Development
The University maintains active cooperation with ETAG (English Teachers Association of Georgia), The University of Georgia, and Shota Rustaveli University (formerly Batumi State University).
Location
Batumi State University is located on the Black Sea Coast of the Republic of Adjara. Its new campus on some of land in Batumi is under development. Meanwhile, it operates at the former Shahin Friendship Secondary School at 19, Khimshiashvili Avenue in Batumi.
