Azerbaijan Airlines Flight 075 was a scheduled passenger flight between Baku and Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Turkey that overrun runway 05-23 (previously 06-24) on 12 August 2010. The flight was operated by an Airbus A319. Incident Azerbaijan Airlines' Airbus A319 overrun runway 05-23 shortly after it landed at Istanbul Atatürk Airport in Turkey. The twin-engined aircraft have suffered the loss of its nose-gear in the event. It has come to rest near a fence, with its forward fuselage in contact with the ground. No injuries are reported. On one of the pictures released after the incident shows that one of tires has no treads left. Azerbaijan Airlines and Turkish aviation authorities started a research to find out the cause of the incident. |
