is a Japanese judoka and martial artist, from Tokyo. Her ring name is "Zombie" and it comes from her ability to push forward through adversity. Miura is a third-degree black belt in judo, and has competed professionally in shootboxing, mixed martial arts and grappling 'superbouts'. She is currently signed to ONE Championship, and has previously competed for Pancrase, DEEP JEWELS, and Shoot Boxing. Early Life Miura was born in Saitama, which is a prefecture in the Greater Tokyo area. She was an only child. She trained in gymnastics and swimming, but did not take up martial arts until she was in her teens. Martial Arts Career She started in judo in junior high school and won regional tournaments, before she went to college to study judo therapy, and won a national collegiate title. After graduating college, she worked in an osteopathy treatment center, where Japanese martial arts veteran Ryo Chonan had treatment, and she became interested in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts after meeting him. Miura first appeared on the DEEP JEWELS promotion in a grappling match with Harumi Todate, which she won by decision. She returned to JEWELS to begin her professional career in 2014 with a debut submission victory over Ella Wu. She campaigned for the promotion until 2016, and then signed with Pancrase, where she became the number-one contender for the title after posting a 4-1 (1NC) record with the promotion. In 2017, she made her shoot boxing debut at . She scored a decision win over Yoka Odawaki. In January, 2019 she signed for ONE Championship, and made a successful debut at ONE: Call To Greatness with a trademark scarfhold American win over Laura Balin.
