History
AWK Solutionswas launched by Debolina Bishnu in 2013. She moved to India, after working for a cashback website company in UK known as Quidco. She started AWK Solutions with an initial investment of USD 1000 and is India’s first ecommerce consulting firm to get external funding from a crowdfunding platform, within a period of 6 month from its incorporation. Inline with its tagline "Simplifying Complexity, Amplifying eCommerce" the company has delivered 6 new dimensional solutions to customers who had the requirement to develop their unique comparison concepts into an online reality.
Recently, the company has started its development of an advanced comparison algorithm, that will redefine the way, the cashback & comparison shopping business model operates. This hybrid & intelligent comparison algorithm will work as a decision advisor, rather than a traditional comparison provider.
Service Model
AWK Solutions, unlike other consulting and development organization, works on a risk and reward sharing model, where both parties works as a partner, with mutual sharing of reward, responsibility and risk. This model ends the traditional concept of clients and consulting provider's relationship, which accelerates better collaboration & mutual trust, resulting in increased productivity & lower operational cost.
The Company is in talks to start a joint venture with few well-known companies like Gopaisa and buyhatke, to launch the first and perhaps the biggest reward based umbrella portal.
Finances
In March 2015, AWK Solutions bagged a seed fund of USD 50,000 from India-based NBFC Bajaj Finserv.
