Advanced Software Concepts Inc. (ASC) is a tailored industry-specific Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions company providing automated web-based contract lifecycle for the telecommunications, financial and utility services industries and for those organizations with similar business processes to these industries.

ASC was founded in 1992 by Shawn King as a privately owned, managed and controlled company. ASC began as an open source software development company for the Telecom industry. The initial focus of the company was to provide quality products, professional services, and managed solutions for the telecommunications market in areas of order management, provisioning, and problem management. ASC was incorporated in 1997 and became ISO 9001:2000 certified in 2002.

Through its work with a variety of customers and projects, ASC recognized that organizations faced common problems that required unique solutions. In particular, many organizations struggled to use traditional mechanisms to effectively handle contracts including Revenue Assurance, Cost Management, and Risk Management. To address this situation, ASC developed a web-based platform that allowed the management of legal and related documents. This platform, now known as ASC Contracts™, was first used to implement a CLM solution in 2001 for a major North American Telecommunication Company.

ASC currently offers Contract Management web-based solutions for Communication Services Providers such as Telcos, Cablecos, and Internet Service Providers, Financial Services Institutions such as banks, brokerages and insurance companies and Utility Services such as Energy Service Providers and other similar industries.
