Works
•The Witching Hour follows protagonist, Lucky Sands, as he attempts to help childhood friend, Tuesday Peters, discover the murderer of her twin. The book is heavy on mythology, blending several different pantheons in order to create a modern day hero myth told with a gothic noir style tone. The book was released just before Thanksgiving in November 2010 in ebook format, and was well received.
•Requiem is the story of vampire-succubus, Kate Kincaid, in a memoir-style tale reminiscent of Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat. The book was first released as an ebook in September 2010 before being re-released in January 2011 in print.
•Nightingale, Nocturne Series Book 1 is the tale of half-vampire, half-sidhe heroine Grace Caldwell, PhD. as she works with FBI agent ex-boyfriend, Jack to solve a series of murders involving sidhe blooded prostitutes in Los Angeles. This book is slated for release in September 2011.
While The Witching Hour is set in and around fictional New England towns, most of her works revolve around Southern California, where she spent a significant portion of her life. The characters (often fantastical creatures usually found in fairy tales, mythology and horror movies) resemble real people, interacting with normal citizens in the today's America.
