Anthony Romolo Falbo (May 17, 1953 - ) is an American painter best known for impressionism and cubism. His works often are associated with Christianity. Personal life Born in Flint, Michigan to Frank and Gacomina Falbo, Falbo studied the works of several painters, including Rembrandt and Picasso. Falbo used them as a guide for his own work while working part-time jobs to purchase art supplies. His first studio was in the basement of his parents' three bedroom apartment. Falbo continued to work regular jobs to support his wife and family before becoming a full-time artist. Falbo currently lives in Silver Springs, Florida. Styles Falbo's series of works have drawn attention from private collectors and corporations alike. Most noteworthy of these is the Agora Gallery in Chelsea, New York. His "Light and Dark Series" concentrates on the use of colors and shading in asurrealist approach to represent the sides of good and evil, with the use of symbolism tying together many of the individual pieces in the series. His "Cubestraction Series" represents a variety of subjects such as music, religion, sports, animals and people in a cubist style. His "Genesis Series" is a look at the first Book of the Old Testament through the use of abstract art. His "Impressionism Series" was created almost entirely through the use of a palette knife to bring out the bold colors, and depicts still life and landscapes.
