Andrei Arapov (born January 01, 1982) is a Canadian businessman, developer, and consultant associated with the IT industry. He is the founder and president of Veles Software and has developed applications, including MPA Tools and My Workstation. Biography Early life and education Arapov was born on January 01, 1982, in Angren, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (now Uzbekistan), the Union of Soviet Sovereign Russia (USSR). After the dissolution of the USSR, Arapov moved to Siberia, where he completed a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and computer science from Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) in 2003. In addition, Arapov received certifications, which include Microsoft Windows administrator from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2007 and Information Technology Management from the University of Calgary in 2010. Career In 2004, Arapov relocated to Calgary, Canada, and worked at Computer For Schools as a hardware and computer technician for a year. He then became an information systems administrator at Paramount Resources, where he worked until 2007. In addition, he served as an infrastructure architect at Nexen in 2011. In 2008, Arapov founded an IT service and consulting company, Veles Software, where he has been serving as the president and chief consultant since. The company offers device management tools and IT support, consultancy, and services for businesses. Through Veles Software, Arapov has developed MPA Tools, a remote management application for system administrators, and My Workstation, an ROI support system for help desk calls and endpoint stability. Arapov was associated with IBM as an information systems engineer in 2008, and then Trican Well Service as an infrastructure architect in 2015 through his company, Veles Software. He became a technical lead at Canadian Pacific Railway in the following year. Later, Arapov joined AMTRA Solutions as an infrastructure architect in 2018 and served until 2022.<ref name=":2" />
