Sunrise Software

Sunrise Software Ltd. is a privately owned UK based company specialising in IT Service Management Software. It was founded in 1994 by the current chairman Tom Weston.
History
Despite having only three years experience in the IT sector, Tom Weston formed Sunrise Software in 1994 as an IT Helpdesk vendor. A succession of helpdesk solutions were released, including Standard; Professional; and Enterprise, each offering advances in functionality, and - in the case of Enterprise - an upgrade in database, from Microsoft Access to Microsoft SQL Server. In the late 90’s Sunrise began drawing up plans for a flexible, browser-based product. By 2007, Sunrise had become an established player in the IT Service Management market with a multi-million pound turnover.

*A live management dashboard.
Sunrise also continue to sell their legacy helpdesk, Enterprise.
Sostenuto
The Sostenuto platform is a thin-client Java-based solution. Originally developed as an application builder, Sunrise has developed an out-of-the-box configuration of the product that can be purchased as an IT Service Management system, aligned with the ITIL framework
Despite ITSM being Sostenuto’s main route to market, it is now being used in applications as diverse as Customer Service Management, Distribution, Health and Safety, and Project Management.
