Life and career
Early life
Sachi Wickramage (born on June 18, 1982) is a Sri Lankan Information Technology Intrapreneur currently working for hSenid Outsourcing. Sachi’s childhood was spent amidst the guidance of parents, teachers and loved ones. He became fascinated with science and technology at an early age. By the age of 15, he had developed his first desktop application. This application was well received by his classmates in School, which led to him continuously spending time on technology research and development, in order to find ways to innovate new ideas. Born as an only child, Sachi grew up witnessing his father’s artistic creations coming out in the form of Sculptures and Paintings, as well as his mother’s mathematical knowledge. He always believed that although he would not pursue in the line of his father’s creativity, he would use his gift of creative eye combined with the evolving technology, to pursue his interests in a digital domain.
After completing his primary and secondary education, he was continuously looking-out for new technologies, notions and practices that support developing High Quality IT products and services. He completed his B.Sc. Honours Degree in Management Information Systems at University College Dublin - National University of Ireland. Thereafter, Sachi obtained his MBA with Distinction from the Cardiff Metropolitan University UK.
Career as an MIS Consultant and an HCI Engineer
Sachi’ career started as an Management Information Systems (MIS) Consultant at NDB bank while in his 3rd year of undergraduate studies, where he was the key member of the team which developed an MIS Business Intelligent System. Upon completing his degree, IT was both his hobby and profession which soon became his career when he joined "hSenid Mobile Solutions" previously known as "BeyondM" as an HCI Engineer. At BeyondM he consulted engineering teams under the areas of Human Computer Interaction & Usability Engineering.
In parallel to his IT career he contributed to the Academia by lecturing in the fields of Human Computer Interaction, Usability Engineering and Multimedia at APIIT an affiliate to Staffordshire University UK and at IIHE an affiliate to University of Wales UK.
Career as Head of hSenid Outsourcing
At hSenid Mobile, Sachi was mentored by the Group Chairman and CEO of hSenid Software International Dinesh Saparamadu. Into his 3rd year with hSenid Mobile, Sachi was recognized for his Expertise, Dedication, Commitment and Passion, and was appointed to develop and lead a new unit "hSenid Outsourcing" within the Mother Company. Sachi developed a small unit to a fully fledged software development house and turned the company around to be a highly competitive, fast growing and a potential rich endeavor.

Today, AppSpace by hSenid Outsourcing takes pride in delivering state-of-the art Mobile App and Web Based Solutions.
