Alys Masters

Alys Masters (Born in Buckinghamshire, England) is a British racing cyclist.
Personal life
Born in Buckinghamshire, England Masters moved to the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales in 2002. Masters attended Cowbridge Comprehensive School.
Career
Masters took up cycling in 2012 after being inspired by the 2012 Olympics in London, Masters headed to her local Club, Maindy Flyers based in Cardiff to learn the in and outs of the sport. The Maindy Flyers is a cycling club based in Cardiff and was home to double Olympic Champion Geraint Thomas and world champion Elinor Barker. After graduating from the Maindy Flyers aged 16 she moved on to ride for the Cardiff Ajax. Where she enjoyed moderate successes Such as winning The Welsh Schools Circuit race in 2014, duly becoming the Regional Schools over 15 Girls champion. Masters was ranked 89th in Britain and 14th in Wales
