Anna Bastek

Anna Bastek is a Polish born UK businesswoman who is the co-founder of Wolfestone, a translation company based in Swansea, Wales.
Early life
Bastek was born in , Poland. She came to Wales in 2006 to study a Masters Degree in marketing and management at Swansea University
Career
While at Swansea University, Bastek joined the GO Wales graduate programme which led to her becoming a Marketing Executive for a Port Talbot based SME.
Bastek is currently Director of Wolfestone, a translation business she co-founded with fellow entrpreneur Roy Allkin in 2006. In 2013 Wolfestone was the sixth-fastest-growing business in Wales, employing 30 staff and 8,000 translators worldwide. Its client base includes global brands such as Mercedes, NATO and the BBC.
Bastek is an inspirational speaker and an Entrepreneurial Dynamo Role Model for the Welsh Government. She judges various business awards helping to recognise hard work in the UK community, such as the IoD Awards. She is also vice chair of the West Wales Exporters Association which helps educate exporters identify opportunities.
