Aly Madhavji

Aly Madhavji (born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada) is an emerging global business leader, an internationally-acclaimed author who attended Moscrop Secondary School, earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, an MBA from INSEAD, and is a 2018 Yan Bin Fellow of the Schwarzman Scholars Program. He is known for his “Your Guide to” series featuring 3 books including a Winner “Your Guide to Succeed in University”. He has worked with charities such as Books With Wings, the Access Empowerment Council, Advantage Mississauga, the Aga Khan Foundation for Canada, and several others in improving the lives of students and youth in struggling environments. He has been featured in several publications including The Medium and The Varsity newspapers, the Ismaili Magazine, Mississauga Magazine, and the University of Toronto Press.
Emerging Global Business Leader
Aly has served on the Board of Directors of the University of Toronto Mississauga’s Student Union during his first year at the University of Toronto while pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce. During his third year, Aly became the President of the University of Toronto Mississauga Residence Council, after having received the Residence Ambassador of the Year award the previous year. During his senior year, Madhavji served as Governor of the University of Toronto, representing 42,000 students across the university. He is also a 2018 Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University.
