Anil Kumar Rai

Prof. Anil Kumar Rai, also known as "Ankit" (born 04 January 1968) is an Indian academician and the present dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha, Maharashtra, India.
Rai studied in University of Delhi, India and graduated with a degree in Hindi. This was followed with a M.J.C.(Masters in Journalism & Communication), MPhil(Hindi) and PhD (Hindi)/PhD(Mass communication) from Delhi University, Delhi and Berhampur University, Berhampur, Orissa respectively. He is former head( founder) in VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur (U.P.); Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar University of Journalism & Mass Communication, Raipur, Chhattisgarh respectively ; Co-ordinator (Founder), Journalism & Mass Communication Programme at Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (Delhi University), Delhi before joining the Department of Mass Communication, MGAHV, in 2009. He rose in the profession to become Professor in the Department of Mass communication. He held numerous positions in the university, Executive council, academic council; selection committee;. Prof. Ankit is a Provincial president, ABVP, Maharashtra.
