Air Castles

Air Castles is a London based band started in 2008 by Swedish born singer-songwriter Max Mansson.
Their debut EP Night And Day was recorded in September 2008 at Tonteknik Recording in Umeå, Sweden. It was produced by Magnus Lindberg of experimental rock band Cult Of Luna. The EP was released in December 2008 on Winter Hymns Records.
Air Castles started playing live in February 2009 and during that year played shows with bands such as Shearwater, Retribution Gospel Choir, Feeder, The Pipettes, Pompeii, Good Books. In September 2009, DVS Shoe Company used Air Castles' song "Broken Watches" in their Skate & Create video.
Sound
Soft melodic vocals, intense walls of sound and intricate soundscapes. Air Castles are often compared to bands like Death Cab For Cutie, Band Of Horses and Sigur Rós.
