Addie Lee

ADDIE LEE is a Blues/Jazz Guitarist from the Bay Area, Palo Alto, Calif.
She started her career as leader and creator of The California Girls who were based out of Palo Alto in the mid 60's.
She later joined a Sacramento band called the Svelts, as lead guitar player and singer.
After this group played the bay area and the US for many years, it had personel turmoil and broke up. Half the band with drummer Alice deBuhr and ADDIE LEE forming Wild Honey.
This band continued to play the midwest and later reformed with the Millington sisters from the Svelts. At this time the name, Wild Honey was kept.
The band relocated to Campbell near San Jose where they practiced and recorded in a small 8 track studio. Their manager at the time headed to Hollywood and secured a few showcases for them in front of producers and record labels.
It was at their performance at the Troubadour that they were able to choose from 3 different record company offers and decided to go with Warner Brothers Records.
After much fighting between producer and management, ADDIE went her own way and created the ADDIE BAND. She performed all over the country and ended up in Chicago playing the blues under the tutelage of Willie Dixon,and proceeded to record at PS with Paul Serano as engineer and Willie Dixon producer.
ADDIE continued to perform and tour the USA and Canada and recording in Carmel, San Fransisco, Fremont, and her own studio up to the current time.
She is owner and creator of Lil'Queenie Guitars, a guitar line for smaller people and women, owns her own 24 track studio, where she continues to write songs and record.
She is also a published children's Book Author under the pen name Adrienne Lee(available on Amazon)
And is a romance author under numerous pen names.
