Actium erp

Actium ERP was developed by Cara Information Systems Ltd. a developer of enterprise software solutions for small to medium size companies. Actium ERP is proprietary software using open source postgreSQL object-relational database system as back-end. Actium ERP is a feature rich accounting application designed as a multi-currency, multi company, multi divisional Enterprise Resource Planning solution.
Once fully integrated, Actium ERP provides all necessary core financial's manufacturing and supply chain management modules required to run a business efficiently.
Technology

The front-end is developed to be used on Microsoft Windows based clients and the back-end is based on open source postgreSQL which allows for the server to be either Microsoft Windows or Linux based.
Updates to the software are done through a “Launcher application” which on loading checks for updated executables and automatically uploads the update to the client when they are made available. This simplifies the software update without any interaction from the user.
Actium ERP clients can be run from remote locations which simplifies the use of satellite offices. Any authorized user can easily access Actium ERP while on the road via the use of a laptop computer.
Actium ERP is proprietary software and the postgreSQL database back-end is open source based on the BSD-sytle license. All reports are produced using Crystal Reports.

Actium was developed by Cara Information Systems Ltd. a privately held company based in White Rock, BC, Canada which has been developing MRP/ERP systems since 1978 on various computing platforms. Actium ERP was developed based on the experience gained over 30 years.
