The Away End

The Away End is the name of a Scottish Football magazine, currently only available online, however from Summer 2009 it will launch as Scotland's only printed Scottish Football magazine. The magazine was started in October 2007 by Andrew Southwick, Ben Archibald, Gordon Webster and Laura Brannan.
The magazine was the first long term football(soccer) magazine in Scotland since Scottish Football Today ended over a decade ago.
The magazine was originally known as "The Twelfth Man", which was derived from the name given to football supporters who are sometimes known as The 12th Man (See The 12th Man definition). Issue One was released under this title.
The name was changed to "The Away End" just before the release of Issue two, which was released on March 6th. The magazine has spanned four issues to date so far, and was features on BBC Scotland's 'Sportsound' with Jim Spence and Jim Duffy.
The magazine also has its own podcast as of May 2009.
