Aaron Chapman is a musician and writer from Vancouver, British Columbia. He's often seen across North America and Europe singing both background and lead vocals, as well as playing a handful of instruments, from the tin whistle and mandolin to the musical saw.
A British Columbia native, he was one of the founding members of the Vancouver celtic punk band Real McKenzies, known to those who remember the original line up as Aaron the Red. Since around 2001, he's been a member of the Vancouver based band The Town Pants. Aaron has toured extensively with the band throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. While most often acting as background vocalist and tin whistle extraordinare, Aaron does occasionally take over and lead a few songs. Most often a song he penned called Plastered in Paris or a formidable cover of Ewan MacColl's "Dirty Old Town", a song made famous by bands like The Dubliners and The Pogues.<ref name="ttpbio" />
