Boronia Backpackers is the second film in a series about the adventures of two thirtysomething blokes, Kane and Darren, who hail from the outer Melbourne suburb, Boronia. All the characters from Boronia Boys reprise their roles in this film including Cameron Nugent, Tim Burns, Desiree Smith, Maxine Klibingaitis, Elspeth Ballantyne and Reylene Pearce. The film was shot on location in over 20 countries including The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Poland, Finland, Italy, Egypt, France, Germany and The Czech Republic. Boronia Backpackers was witten and directed by Timothy Spanos and premiered on August 27, 2011. |
