2021 Lansing City Council election

Lansing City Council elections are scheduled to be held on November 2, 2021. Voters will elect council members for two out of the four At-Large seats, as well as Wards 2 and 4. Ward 2 and At Large will have a primary on August 3, 2021, while Ward 4, because only two candidates have filed, will only be on the ballot in the general. Council members elected in November 2021 will be inaugurated on January 1, 2021. By law, Lansing municipal elections are nonpartisan—candidates do not represent a specific party.
