2010 Cowboys Classic

The 2010 Cowboys Classic was the 2nd edition of this event and featured the Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-10 Conference and the TCU Horned Frogs of the MWC and was played on September 4, 2010 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Game Summary
TCU would force a three-and-out on Oregon State's 1st possession and then, Andy Dalton would throw an interception on TCU's 1st possession and then, Oregon State would take advantage on that interception as Ryan Katz would have a 30-yd touchdown pass to James Rodgers to give Oregon State a 7-0 lead. TCU would strike back on their next possession as Andy Dalton would have a 6-yd touchdown run to tie the game at 7-7. Oregon State would get nothing on their next possession as Justin Kahut would miss a 47-yd Field Goal. TCU would be forced to punt on their next possession as the 1st Quarter would end in a 7-7 tie.
Ryan Katz would have a 34-yd touchdown pass to Jordan Bishop on Oregon State's 1st possession of the 2nd Quarter to give the Beavers a 14-7 lead. TCU would strike back on their next possession as Andy Dalton had a 1-yd touchdown pass to Jeremy Kerley to tie the game at 14-14. After both teams were forced to punt on their next possession, TCU forced a three-and-out on Oregon State and then Ed Wesley had a 8-yd touchdown run to put TCU ahead 21-14 at halftime.
TCU would advance the ball all the way to the Oregon State 14-yd line on their next possession but an Andy Dalton interception would ruin the drive as Dwight Roberson was the one who intercepted the pass. Oregon State would take advantage of that interception though, as Jacquizz Rodgers had a 1-yd touchdown run to tie the game at 21-21. TCU would strike back on their next possession as Andy Dalton would have a 4-yd touchdown run to give TCU a 28-21 lead to finish the 3rd Quarter.
After both teams were forced to punt on their 1st two possessions of the 4th quarter, Oregon State would fumble the ball and then recover in the end zone and got sacked which resulted in a safety which put TCU ahead 30-21. TCU would be able to hold off Oregon State for a 30-21 victory which made quarterback Andy Dalton the winningest quarterback in TCU history.
