Zack The Lego Maniac

Zack The Lego Maniac (full name: Zack Henderson) was the mascot of Lego toys during the 1980s and 1990s. He would appear in advertisements wearing a denim jacket, red goggles, and a Lego logo on his back.

History

Beginning in the summer of 1988 Zack become the company's on screen spokesperson sometimes appearing as "Jack" .various actors played him over the years until the mid 1990s.

Jingle

During Zack's appearances he'd often be accompanied by a Jingle usually altered to fit what ever current Lego toy that was on the market. The most famous one went like this:

"I know a boy, his name is Zack, He loves to fit, he loves to stack, Yes construction is his knack, he's Zack the Lego Maniac. He builds in windows, he's off the wall, he builds em big, he builds 'em small. in Lego Land he'll rock and roll, he's Lego wild, out of control! It's Zack, Zack, he's a Lego Maniac! He's Zack, Zack, he's a Lego Maniac!"

The jingle was composed by Jake Holmes .

Actors

Zack was portrayed by a variety of actors from 1988 to 1995 these include Josh Disney, and Chris Perguidi among others.

Media

Chris Perguidi is constantly accused of being him in the Lizard Zone show and often claiming to be him.

Zack the Lego maniac appears as a guest in an the expertz skit.

He recently had on on air altercation with Mr. Lobo He's a secret character in Lego star wars .

Chris perguidi is very often seen sporting his plastic bleached hair cap and is currently a dinosaur from the 1800's, dating the fossil remains of tattered teri.
