Yavor-Ivanov
Yavor Dimitrov Ivanov () (born on 12 November 1986 in Botevgrad) is a Bulgarian entrepreneur, known for starting the first social media network in Bulgaria. In 2007 he and his partner Stanislav Bozhkov () started Svejo.net. Later in 2007, svejo.net merged with the Bulgarian web media group NetInfo to form a company named Xenium .
In 2010 Ivanov became the majority shareholder in Xenium and in 2011 his company started releasing more products targeted to the Bulgarian audience such as a Weather, Lifestyle and more.
Ivanov's company Xenium and its lead product, Svejo.net, have been recognized many times by different experts and organizations such as BG Site, P2P Conference .
Career
Ivanov's early life indicates working for various IT companies .
After being involved with Xenium, Ivanov became its CEO. Within a year, he was also a partner and eventually become CEO of Prometheus AD, another company with social focus. According to local Gemius reports for June 2011 , Svejo.net was ranked 6th in the top 10 Bulgarian sites by monthly reach.
At Xenium, Ivanov has been responsible for two major products:
- Svejo.net - a social media network
- Termo.bg - a weather forecast service
Prior to joining Xenium, Ivanov had worked at Tarasoft and was responsible for various development of major sites for the Bulgarian market such as gong.bg, imoti.net, imoti.bg and others.
