Waldo Luis Rodríguez

Waldo Luis Rodríguez was born in Matanzas, Cuba, December, 1946. He died in Havana, on February 1971. He cultivated various art forms like painting, drawing, ceramics and ilustration. From 1962 to 1966 he did art stusies at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA), Havana, Cuba. During 1967 he was Professor of Visual Arts. Escuela Provincial de Artes Plásticas, Matanzas, Cuba

Individual Exhibitions

In 1969 Waldo Luis Rodríguez showed Temperas, Centro de Información y Estudios de la Cultura, Havana. A decade later he did another personal exhibition in Galería L, Havana.

Collective Exhibitions

In a collective perspective we can quote in 1964 Exposición Homenaje al “26 de Julio” shoed at Escuela Nacional de Arte, Havana, Cuba. In 1970 he was part of Pintores y escultores de Matanzasdisplayed at the Art Gallery Matanzas, Cuba. He was also selected in 1982 to conform the exhibition Salón Permanente de Jóvenes, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana, Cuba.
