Vikram Shri

Vikram Shridhar, known professionally as Vikram Shri, is an Indian actor who works in Kannada and Tamil television and films. He made his feature film debut in the 2015 Kannada film Bombay Mittai and has since taken on lead roles in Tamil television series, including Siva Manasula Sakthi and Aaha Kalyanam.

Early life

Vikram Shri was born as Shridhar in Vijayapura, Karnataka, India. Prior to acting, he practiced gymnastics, and he occasionally performs his own physical stunts in television sequences.

Career

Vikram made his feature film debut in the Kannada film Prema Pallaki (2015) and subsequently appeared in the comedy-drama Bombay Mittai (2015) and the romantic sequel Mungaru Male 2 (2016).

He transitioned to television with the Kannada series Amruthavarshini and Parinaya, as well as playing Santhosh in Kavery. He later began working in Tamil television, debuting as the male lead, ShiVa, in Siva Manasula Sakthi, a Tamil remake of the Hindi soap opera Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji. He also appeared in Kaatrin Mozhi as Shiva.

From October 2021 to July 2022, Vikram portrayed Adv. Nalla Sivam in the Zee Tamil drama Anbe Sivam. He later took over the lead role of Velmurugan Sivapathi in the second season of Sakthivel: Theeyaai Oru Theeraa Kaadhal. In August 2023, he joined the cast of Aaha Kalyanam, a remake of the Bengali series Gaatchora, replacing Jay D'Souza as the character Surya.
