Tower (school newspaper)
Tower is the award-winning newspaper of The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. It is published approximately seven times a year.
It is an independent, school-affiliated publication produced by the students of the school. Each issue contains four sections: News, Opinion, Features & Arts, and Sports. 650 copies of the paper are distributed free of charge in and around The Masters School on distribution days. The current faculty advisers are Ellen Cowhey and Matthew Browne.
Staff
Tower staff take the Introduction to Journalism and Journalism classes; after graduating from Introduction to Journalism, students may join The Newspaper's staff. Staff positions include news editor, opinion editor, features & arts editor, sports editor, managing editor, copy editor and staff writer. Editors-in-chief are chosen by the previous year's editors-in-chief and by the faculty advisers.

Coverage
Tower has, in the past, covered a range of topics pertinent to the school, including grade distribution, teacher pay, and plans for the school's future.
Funding
Masters provides Tower staff with a work space and resources, including computers and some funding for food. However, the staff raises funds through advertisements.
Online presence
The Tower website includes issues of the newspaper as well as online exclusives.
