The Secrets Inside is a play.
Plot
The Secrets Inside follows the imprisonment of Darren Tunstall, a 23 year old businessman who is sentenced to 8 months in Perth prison, Scotland for possessing indecent images of children. The play follows the rocky relationship between the protagonist and his cellmate, Brian, a volitile inmate who prays on Darren's mind. The plot thickens when Megan, the prison psycologist, discovers that Darren isn't all he says he is, and that he might have been wrongly imprisoned. The play is a race against time as both Megan and Brian fight their own battles to get into Darrens mind before it is too late.

Sell a Door Theatre Company
The Secrets Inside was Sell a Door Theatre Company's debut production, and the first production of this new piece of writing. The company, established in Liverpool, links artistically David Hutchinson, Richard Adams, Robert Gilbert and Phillip Rowntree - the creative team of directors. The company is registered as Liverpool based, and works mainly in regional theatre and festival fringe events.
Productions
This 50-minute play written by David Hutchinson was originally performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008. The production took place at Venue 45, Edinburgh, between 18th and 23rd of August. Sell a Door Theatre Company "http://www.selladoor.com" produced the debut performance, Richard Adams taking the helm as director.
The production had the following cast: Lee McPherson (Brian), David Hutchinson (Darren), Alison Carter (Megan) and Derek Barr (Mark).
