Samuel Markus

Samuel Markus is a Canadian singer/songwriter now living in Los Angeles. He is famous for his 2006 V2 release "From the Decker House", where he co-wrote most of the songs with Erick Jordan from the Rosewood Thieves as well as his recent solo release, "New Dawn"

Biography

Samuel is also unusual in that he has written and directed his own videos for this album (the songs Rosa, The Offering, Jitterbug, Eternally, and New Dawn) and has a short film that was played at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. In this way Samuel is fulfilling a dream of having both music and film as a canvas for his emerging talent. Currently Samuel is forming a new MusicAL project with fellow musician and filmmaker, Jennifer Thorington.
