After the invention of the inflatable screen ("AIRSCREEN") in 1994 the founders of the AIRSCREEN Company operated drive-in theaters and open air cinemas in different cities in Germany using this unique product. Over the years the demand for inflatable screens both for rental and sale grew tremendously.

In the year 2001 the first inflatable screen was exported to the USA marking the first step in going international. In May 2004 the world premiere of Shark Tale on St. Mark's Square in Venice was shown on a 100 ft x 66 ft (30m x 20m) AIRSCREEN - by that time the largest inflatable screen in the World . Also as a consequence of this many film events like Cannes Film Festival, Cambridge Film Festival or Traverse City Film Festival use these inflatable screens for showing movies outdoors.

Nowadays AIRSCREENS are exported in more than 50 countries around the globe.
