Tenna (company)
Tenna, formerly known as BuildSourced, is an American construction technology company that offers equipment fleet operations and GPS asset tracking. It was founded by Austin Conti and Jose Cueva in 2015 in New Jersey and is presently headquartered in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
History
The company was initially founded by Conti and Cueva in 2015 under the name BuildSourced, originally located in Edison, New Jersey. Prior to founding Tenna, Conti and Cueva had a background in the civil construction industry and conceived of the company after brainstorming ideas for a solution to sourcing and managing materials.
Tenna debuted its asset tracking and management GPS system at 2019 World of Concrete trade show.
Tenna and CEO Austin Conti received Dorson's Champion of Access and Opportunity Award for its internship partnership benefitting students of the Dorson Scholars Program.
In 2022, Tenna released the TennaCAM safety camera and the TennaCAM 2.0, an AI-powered dash camera.In the same year, Tenna’s platform got integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud and other software from companies such as Sage and Vista, which can be accessed through the Tenna app.
In 2022 and 2023, It won Inc.’s America’s Entrepreneurs 5000 Strong award.
In 2023, Financial Times named them as one of the US’s fastest growing companies.
In 2025, they won the Enterprise Software Company of the Year in the IoT Break Through Awards.

Software
Its earliest offerings included a cloud-based inventory management software with features such as barcode scanning, inventory forecasting, and customizable reporting. It also includes resource management software and the Digital Driver Vehicle Inspection software and app.
Tenna’s platform has been integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud and other software from companies such as Sage and Vista.It can be accessed through the Tenna app.
Hardware
Tenna offers semiautonomous and fully autonomous GPS telematics trackers and BLE beacons that are designed for construction environments.The platform also integrates various IoT technologies, including cellular, Bluetooth Low Energy, and QR codes, for vehicles, materials, and equipment used for construction equipment fleets.
Tenna has also released the TennaCAM safety camera and the TennaCAM 2.0, an AI-powered dash camera. The company also offers the TennaCANbus tracker for heavy equipment.
