Steven Cash

Steven Cash is a former senior U.S. government official. He served as Chief Counsel to Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, and as Minority Staff Director of the Subcommittee on [...], Technology and Homeland Security. He also served as Chief of Staff to the Director, Department Of Energy, Office of Intelligence, and was the first Minority Staff Director to the House of Representative's Select Committee on Homeland Security. From 2001 to 2003 he was a Professional Staff Member and Counsel for the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Now in private practice, he is the founder and owner of Deck PRiSM, LLC, a consulting firm, as well as the principal of his own law firm. He has been a Principal and Counsel with PRTM Management Consultants, a global operational strategy firm, where he specializes in serving government and business clients involved in national security and homeland security issues. In this capacity, Cash served as a member of the task force that developed the Business Executives for National Security's 2007 report "Getting Down to Business: An Action Plan for Public-Private Disaster Response Coordination." He also served on the Project Team for BENS's "Intelligence Community Analysis Project."

As adjunct faculty at American University, he teaches Introduction to U.S. Intelligence.

Cash began his career in New York City, as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City, where he was assigned to the Manhattan DA's "Rackets" bureau.
