Raila and Kawasaki: Superstar Quest
Raila and Kawasaki: Superstar Quest is a game released only to MSX in 2000 in Japan. The game was made by fans of the MSX that produced games like Sonyc to MSX in 1998 and was available only in Japan in Japanese.
Plot
It starts at the city of Lalyr in early 1300s where the villain Sir Richard Rose is a duke that rules the city and he is very bad. One day, Raila's family couldn't pay the taxes and Rose ordered the guards to arrest them and in 15 days if nobody pays, they were going to die. Raila, a 12-year girl, gets desperate since she has no money and starts looking for help. When Raila was running at night in the lone alleys of Lalyr, she knocked with Kawasaki, a young swordsman that decided o help. The guards hear them and because of Raila's and Kawasaki's age (12 and 13) they throw them far away from Lalyr, in Waninloki near Lake of Pray. In the morning they wake up and go on a quest to defeat Sir Richard Rose in 15 days.
Gameplay
The gameplay is somewhat hard to learn and the battles are RPG style, the player controls either Raila or Kawasaki.
HP, SP and BP
When the player goes up a level (max: 60) he or she can raise one of HP (Heart Points), SP(Special Points) or BP (Badge Points) up to 3.
