Nigel Ward (musician)
Nigel Ward is a singer/songwriter and musician from Coventry, England. He is known locally for playing folk music in local pubs and clubs. Has played notably at the Coventry Godiva Festival with both The Oddsods and with Mick Bisiker, in which bands and artists such as Kasabian, Leo Sayer and The Enemy have also played. Nigel is currently working on Pete Willow's band Sly Old Dogs.
The Band of Rack and RUiN
In 2004, Nigel Ward was approached by Mick Bisiker, the frontman of folk rock band Rack and Ruin. He was interested in starting a duo project with him. After releasing an album together, Bisiker said that his band were AbOUT to loose a member, and asked Nigel to join. Since then Nigel has played mainly fiddle, and occasionally acoustic guitar in the band.
Sly Old Dogs
One of Nigel's former bands, The Oddsods, in which he played the fiddle with for years, disbanded in 2008, following the departure of their lead singer. The band's former guitarist, Pete Willow, invied Nigel to become a member of his new band, Sly Old Dogs.
