State Secretary for European Integration (Montenegro)
Competences
State Secretary for European Integration monitors and coordinates the European integration process by directing the work of the General Directorate for European Integration and the General Directorate for Coordination of EU assistance programs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
Secretary of State monitors and analyzes main directions of Montenegrin foreign policy as well as reactions of the international environment on the European Union level and makes proposals for the implementation of foreign policy priorities at the national and international level.
At its session, held on 25 September 2012, the Government of Montenegro appointed Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejović as State Secretary for European Integration.
