Shriniwas Narwekar

Shriniwas Narwekar is born on 13th July 1973 in Mumbai. His primary education held at Mumbai, Sawantwadi & he continued his further education in Sawantwadi. Though he is a B.Sc. graduate, today he is a playwright, director, screenplay & dialogues writer for films & serials. He is also working as a copy writer & translator for reputed agencies.

• Screenplay and Dialogues writing of 3-D Animation Films in Hindi Luv-Kush, being produced by Infoseek India Ltd., 2-D Animation 11 mins. Serials (Hindi & English) like Akbar-Beerbal, Aesop Neeti, Sheikhchilli & 40 mins. Films (English) such as Devarshi Naarad, Prince Raam
• Screenplay and Dialogues writing of the Marathi serial Shreemantachi Lek aired on Sahyadri Channel.
• Story, Screenplay, Dialogues writing of the Marathi Serial Waadal Ek Bhirabhirate…, directed by Amol Bhave, being aired on Sahyadri channell soon.
• Author of the book of mysterious stories, Abyss, published in hands of renowned Marathi playwright Mr. P. L. Mayekar. Preface of the book is written by senior-most mystery stories writer Mr. Ratnakar Matkari. This book has been awarded by ‘Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad’ recognizing offbeat writing.
• JEEVANACHYA WAATEVAR - Acted in Marathi weekly Serial airing on Sahyadri channel, Directed by Mahesh Deshpande.
• HASANYAWAARI NEU NAKA - Acted in short episodes of this Marathi Daily Serial on Sahyadri channel, Directed by Ravideep.
• I vs I (Dir. Narayan Gondal) ASTITWA, LIFE in the CAGE (Dir. Kiran Pawar) - Acted in short films in Hindi.
• Working for Amateur and Children theatre movement since 1988. Won more than 1000 prizes for Direction, Music, Set Design, Lights and Acting; in Regional and State level competitions. Written 6 two acts & 12 one act plays.
• Designed a City TV Channel ‘SAC’ holding position of Executive Producer as well as Director during 1994-96.
• Total 14 yrs in journalism. Worked as a Sub-editor/Reporter & Job designer (Art) in print media.
• Weekly columns Jaata Jaata Sahajach, Pandharichya vaari & Naam – O-Nishaan published in Sindhudurg edition of publication Daily Tarun Bharat (Belgaon). • Produced, Directed & associated in writing for a Long One Act play Shyaamchi Aaii for the first time in Maharashtra.
• Performed children one act plays on Radio Ratnagiri, after converting them into Radio Play.
• Guiding in Workshops for Voice Culture, Linguistic, Body Language, Presentation of Poems, Anchoring, Theatre and Personality Development. Also organizing Children theatre workshops.
