Shree Ram Welfare Society High School, Mumbai, India was started in 1951 by group of visionaries originally to cater to the south Indian community in the suburbs. From a small beginning in a shared community hall with just a handful of children, the school today offers education to over 2000 children from all religious, social & economic backgrounds. History
Shree Ram Welfare Society High School was started in 1951 by group of visionaries. The school today offers education to over 2000 children from all religious, social & economic backgrounds.In 1951, the School reaffirms its commitment to its founding principles - to be a provider of contemporary education with the ACTIVE participation of all its stakeholders - children, teachers and parents. To keep abreast of today’s challenges and in anticipation of tomorrow’s needs, we have recently adopted the latest teaching / learning aid, such as the Smart Class digital teaching system which has been installed in all classrooms much to the delight of students and teachers.
GOKULAM :
Gokulam covers Nursery, Junior and Senior Kindergarten classes. The section has good qualified and trained teachers and support staff to take care of every child with utmost care.
SSC BOARD PRIMARY SCHOOL:
Primary section is aided by the Bruhan Mumbai Mahanagarpalika. The norms and rules are as per the rules and regulation of the education department of BMMC.
SSC BOARD SECONDARY SCHOOL:
The secondary section is operated according to the norms and rules laid down by the education department of the Government of Maharashtra. The section is aided by the State Government.
SHREE RAM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL:
Shree Ram International School IGCSE (Proposed) is operated according to the norms of Waldorf system of education. Waldorf schools offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential, and academically rigorous approach to education. They integrate the arts in all academic disciplines for children from preschool through twelfth grade to enhance and enrich learning. Waldorf Education aims to inspire life-long learning in all students and to enable them to fully develop their unique capacities.
Founded in the early 20th century, Waldorf Education is based on the insights, teachings and principles of education outlined by the world renowned artist and scientist, Rudolf Steiner. Sports
Shree Ram Welfare Society High Scool attaches great significance to all round development of students. Physical well being is a very important part of student’s life at SRWS. Facilities are provided for both indoor and outdoor games. Major popular sports and games are planned and specialized coaching by expert coaches is provided. Students are encouraged to participate in inter school events.
