Selldretti
Walker Vernal Seldon, also known as Selldretti, is a rapper, songwriter and lyricist of American origin. He was born on May 18, 1994. He is also the founder of the Selldretti Music Group.
Early life and military enrollment
Seldon was born in Columbus, Georgia. He graduated from the Northside High School in 2012. After graduating from high school in 2012, Selldretti joined the United States Army and served on ACTIVE duty in Afghanistan in 2014. He enrolled at West Point to gain a degree in law.
Music career
In 2009, Seldon recorded a track called Pick Me Up which featured Marcus Muscogee and D-YODA. Selldretti released his new single Grieve. In September 2017, his first solo album "Life Goes On" was released. He received attention when the album received 300,000 downloads within 24 hours of its launch with its track "Welcome to Columbus, Ga", receiving 100,000 downloads in the first week. The track was later featured on "Coast 2 Coast Hottest In The State: Georgia Vol. 11" and "DJ Young Cee's Record Labels Need Me Vol. 88".
Seldon was awarded the "Most Promising African American Rapper" by the Music Association of Zambia in 2017 post the release of his first album. His tracks have been on the No. 1 spot of Zambia music charts for 4 weeks, as well as the No. 1 spot for English charts in Kenya for a span of 3 weeks.
In October 2017, he released the singles Censored and "Rock the Block" from his second solo album titled "Back to the Boom".
Seldon also founded the Selldretti Music Group, a label and brand which includes the artists Camo Don, R&B artist K’Lauren, B-Hernz, Jay4Real, DJ Kin, and Sharheem. The group released its debut album "The Move" on May 18, 2017.
