Seven Wonders of the Portuguese-built Landmark in the World

The Seven Wonders of the Portuguese-built Landmark in the World is a list of buildings located in other parts of the world that were first built by the Portuguese in the colonial era. It was done with the support of IPPAR and the Portuguese Ministries of Education and Culture following the decisions corresponding to the other seven wonders list, the Modern World and of Portugal. The organization of the event was done by former European commissioner António Vitorinio.

27 landmarks in three continents first built during the Portuguese colonial era went into the candidate list. Of which 22 are UNESCO's World Heritage Site The winners were announced on June 10, 2009. Seven won, four landmarks are in Asia, of which two are in India, one in Cape Verde in Africa and two in Brazil in South America.
