Rohit Gera

Rohit Gera is the Managing Director at Gera Developments. Gera is also the Vice President of CREDAI (PUNE) since 2007 - up till now (2017) and has been on the managing committee since 1999. He was also the Honorary Secretary from 2005 – 2007. In addition to this, he is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO)

Rohit Gera stands at the helm of one of India's largest real estate companies and has been instrumental in pushing the geographic boundaries of its operations beyond Pune and into Goa and Bangalore.

Professional Life

He is known for introducing several new and dynamic real estate concepts and solutions, for example, Gera Song of Joy - a child-centric real estate development.

He has also diversified the value offerings of Gera developments with LINT - a community building initiative offering a series of training workshops that help in imparting knowledge on business soft-skills.

Because of his vast experience in the field of real estate development and his educational background, he is often invited as a guest speaker/interviewee in many top real estate related news-shows and newspapers, both paper & online.

He has spoken extensively on the subjects of RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Act), GST and its impact on India's real estate, the Union budget and a lot more.

Achievements

Under Mr.Rohit Gera’s leadership, Gera Developments has gone on to win several real estate awards, one of them being the award for ‘Developer of the year’. His CFO, Swapan Mukherjee, was awarded the CFO of the year award by Asian CFO Leadership Awards in 2015.

Education

He has also has completed the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. After completing his education, he quickly moved into transforming and corporatizing his family business.
