Rethink Institute
Rethink Institute founded in 2012, is an independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan research institution based in Washington D.C. whose mission is to deepen the understanding of contemporary political and cultural challenges facing communities and societies around the world.
Experts
- Fevzi Bilgin (Chairman): He is expert on Turkish politics (domestic & foreign policy; relations with U.S. & E.U); Eurasian energy and security; Hizmet movement; Islam and politics.
- Vladimir Fedorenko (Residential Research Fellow): He specializes in democratization processes, civil society and civic movements, identity politics and nation-building processes in Central Asia and Russia.
- Mustafa Gurbuz (Residential Research Fellow): His areas of expertise are Turkish politics and society; Kurdish politics; Sociology of Islam; Middle Eastern politics.
- Rovhsan Ibrahimov: He is an associate professor and former head of Foreign Policy Analysis Department at Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Almazbek Beishenaliev: He is a visiting professor at the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University. He works on developments in the field of education in Central Asian republics.
- Galym Zhussipbek: He is a faculty member at Department Of International Relations, Suleyman Demirel University, Almaty, Kazakhstan.
